New Clinic Development

We have a huge number of people to thank for their tireless work and help in getting the new clinic up and running. This sounds like an Oscar’s speech, but we appreciate every one of you!

Thanks to:

Rhona Laredo – our real estate agent, for securing the property purchase, none of this would have happened without you!

Peter Hawtin – our architect, for working with us to turn our vision into an actual building. Thanks for his patience and expertise.

Graeme Reed from Westpac.

The team at Medical Assurance, especially John, Sue, Colin, and Michelle.

Jeff Mills, our project manager.

Michael McDonald, our lawyer.

Stewart Stanley, our accountant.

Higgs Builders – special thanks to our brilliant builders – we were advised to use them right from the start, and they did us proud. Special thanks to Paul and Andrew, and the whole team – you all made the whole building process much easier that it should have been, particularly with such a complicated project, and through such cold weather! Nearly finished – early July 2009

29th August 2009: Just moved in.

It all started with a couple of old buildings and a floor plan.

Clearing the site – the only things left standing were the 2 ash trees.

Starting construction – floor slab down and the block walls started going up.

Interior walls and linings going in – it was great to start walking through rooms that had only existed on plans for so long!
